Sam and Virginia Stricklin

     Sam Stricklin is a native of Oklahoma.  While attending seminary in Ft. Worth, TX, he became an Assistant Pastor at Friendly Lane Baptist Church for one year.  For almost six years he pastored Bible Baptist Church in Stillwater, OK.  From there he moved to Warwick, RI and started the First Baptist Church, where he pastored for almost 30 years.

     Bro. Stricklin is currently the Church Planting Administrator of MAP.  Bro. Stricklin and his wife, Virginia, have been married 41 years.  They are the proud parents of five sons; four of whom are in full-time ministry.
